The Icarus Deception
My top 5 books are books I would recommend you read in general to drum up an interest in marketing and cultivating your own brand.
My top 3 books are for those, who are looking to be fired up and ready to get the ball rolling.
Never the less the Icarus Deception is in the 1st place spot on both lists.
Just Cruising through life won’t cut it
The safe jobs your grandparents had our gone.
The pension and social security checks are gone and so is retirement.
It’s funny the work 20-30 years and retire dream, is only 100 years old and died already.
So for a clearer picture that means at the very most, your great grandpa, grandpa, and maybe your dad had this opportunity to be a slave for x amount of time and be free.
You however do not.
Schools are paper mills producing non-creative mindless drones, who struggle to not only find work but their Identity as well.
Who will if they can land a job put in the minimum amount of effort, in attempts to not stand out, and just enough work to not get fired.
The concept of going to school and educating yourself, sounds noble, but big business, is using more and more computers, and watering down any and every task to under pay the masses.
School, social media and society tries to shame you into being what they want you to be.
Which is Silent, Just shut up and buy in to whatever we Sell you.
They sold you on student debt, and other forms of consumer debt as well such as credit cards and cars.
So what can you do to Escape?
The logic of Icarus deception
What Seth illustrates in the icarus deception are the thoughts we are scared to say, and the actions we are scared to take.
Society wants you to live a plain and watered down life
We are being replaced every day by machines and cheaper labor
There is no minority race or women stealing all the jobs, we have to simply create the jobs, and life we want.
Right now it’s all to easy for the Fat cats in Washington to eat, they have the poor disenfranchised and they have the middle class labeled as middle class.
But if you’re really middle class you’re poor, the only difference is your on a sliding scale that can tip in and direction at any time.
So you are inherently paranoid, and blaming minorities, women and immigrants.
The government and society failed us, but we are at each other throats, with silly prejudices.
Meanwhile
They are taking our money and pulling the wool over our eyes.
This my Friend is the Great Icarus Deception.
They Change the Narrative
The Lie
Its that kid fault for wearing a hoodie over his head in February , its Florida, it doesn’t get cold.
The TRUTH
It was 30 degrees, that night, and he was a kid, who ran into a racist, and had no viable means of escape.
The Lie
She killed herself in that jail cell and set us up.
The TRUTH
A cop lost his cool, and unjustly beat and killed a young woman, and took pictures, after she was dead to make it appear as if she was alive.
The end result
Instead of standing up as a nation and taking down these scum bags, mass media race baited, and further destroyed our nation.
Right now all Americans, are suffering, and the rich our profiting, and telling us to blame each other.
The money is devalued, and means nothing.
They still want you to work, they made degrees worthless, and still want you to pay back what they loaned you.
They set you up for mediocrity.
The new Economy
We waste our time on social media sharing memes, and writing statuses.
In fact some of us who write very good statuses could easy sell products to our friends via social media, with no website whatsoever.
All we would have to do is spend a day or two learning the skill.
But you won’t because your lizard brain needlessly keeps you as a slave and its pet.
Kamiwaza “like the gods”
The japanese invented this word Kamiwaza and it means like the gods, in fact if you type in Kamiwaza.
Your spell check should recognize it as a real word further proof that this exist, and that you need to implement it.

You can be humble, and aware at the same time.
Develop Grit and a work ethic
You have to actually put in the work required to be great. Most people talk a good game and fail to put up any points.
They say they write, sing, are entrepreneurs, but can’t show you any work or effort they put in to making their dreams come true.
How can we live in a smart phone world , where an artist is unable to pull up anything that they’ve done, it would only take two seconds.
Unless of course they are being deceptive.
Shame is your enemy
Shame is what keeps people in failed marriages until the kids graduate, so that you have less people in your business.
Its what stops us from taking promotions, because you believe no one would listen to you.
Shame equals fear.
Fear will prevent you from seeing and taking opportunities.
The Summary of The Icarus Deception
Do something creative every day and be a kind boss to yourself.
It won’t always be easy so be kind to yourself
The world won’t always understand, be kind to yourself
Be a healthy amount of obsessed but be kind to yourself
Most IMPORTANTLY BE KIND TO YOURSELF
