What is the main benefit of frozen veggies and fruit
Convenience, and sometimes cost, are the two main benefits of frozen veggies and fruit.
Which form is better, obviously anything in a cream or syrup is a no no. Outside of that your options are unlimited.
In terms of things that in my local grocery store cost about the same, some times spinach is the same price froze, as it is in produce aisle.
Therefore I usually get the one from the produce aisle unless I know my current meal prep doesn’t require a lot of it. In that case I get spinach from the frozen veggie aisle.
Why canned or frozen veggies and fruits?
They can easily be stored for later use, and have a longer shelf life than their produce aisle counter parts.
